Practice Sessions

Between May and August, when the indoor korfball league makes room for outdoor tournament play - we have outdoor sessions taking place at South Reading Leisure Centre, Thursdays between 6:45-8:15pm.

During the indoor Korfball Season - which typically starts in September - we return to the warm indoor halls in and around Reading.

Our general club practice sessions have been typically held at Reading Blue Coat School. Most recently, these have been held on Thursday evenings between September and April.

Because the winter season coincides with league play, our korfball league squads have also enjoyed additional biweekly practice sessions on Wednesday evenings. These have been held at Waingels College.

Interested? Get in touch and schedule two free practice sessions with us. If you liked the experience and want to become a member afterwards, talk to us again and we'll work together to get you to become a member!

Coaching

Reading Rooks are an ambitious korfball club. Though we have only been around since 2019, we have expanded to such an extent that were able to field 4 teams during the 2024-2025 season of the Oxfordshire Korfball Association, making us the second largest club in the league.

But we don't just want to grow our size, we also want to keep challenging ourselves and climb the English Korfball League Pyramid. Thanks to our weekly practice sessions under the expert guidance of our coaches, we continuously seek to improve our knowledge of the game.

For the 2025-2026 season, Reading Rooks are actively looking for new korfball coaches. So if you are one, or happen to know one, come and speak to us!
